What is WAMUN?
The West Africa Model United Nations is a dynamic United Nations simulation project based on the principles and format of a UN General Assembly debate, with a focus on the United Nations, global issues, international relations and human rights issues.
WAMUN offers enormous benefits and life skills to participating students, managers, entrepreneurs and representatives of the public sector. They learn about tolerance, dialogue and empathy while acquiring some essential practical skills such as the written preparation of arguments and the oral presentation of such arguments; negotiation skills and diplomacy, among others.
WAMUN, like other Model United Nations, involves substantial researching, public speaking, debating, and writing skills, as well as critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership abilities.

We offer your business or institution visibility on our webpage and various social media platforms that serve as our primary recruitment tool.
We also offer you the opportunity to advertise during our conference, with banners, a booth or a company related exhibit. Your logo may also be included in the official brochure of this year’s conference. Afrimun are ready to tailor a promotional operation suited for your organisation’s particular preferences.
If a potential contributor could provide products that can be used or consumed during the conference, that would also be acceptable for exposure.
Depending on the organizational focus and the level of financial backing, we could potentially offer a representative of our sponsor the chance to speak during the opening or closing ceremony. Both of these ceremonies will be attended by every delegate, chair, journalist and faculty advisor.
